Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was allegedly filmed inside a Perth CBD toilet cubicle, with detectives also investigating the accused's movements at a second location.
A 21 year old Wattle Grove man has been charged with using an optical surveillance device to record a private activity.
Police allege he used his mobile phone to film a female inside a cubicle at Forrest Chase at approximately 5.30pm on Sunday, 20 September 2026.
She followed him into the mall before he left. Police say officers subsequently identified him and took him into custody.
Detectives say their inquiries, including a review of CCTV, suggest the man entered the Myer department store's female toilets earlier that afternoon.
They want to hear from anyone who used its level two toilets between 3.45pm and 5pm on 20 September 2026, or noticed suspicious behaviour.
The man is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on 21 October 2026.
Anyone with information relevant to the investigation can contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a report at crimestopperswa.com.au.
